Kasukabe club

Regular training 3 days a week here at the Kasukabe city Budokan.

Wednesday mornings from 9:15 we alternate Seniors class and Weapons class. Roughly 4 to 8 people ranging from white belts to black.

Thursday evening is a mixed kids and adults class from 5:45. A nice class for families.

On Saturdays the kids class is from 9:15, then followed by the adult class from 10:30. Free training till 1pm.

Now the Kasukabe club has almost 30 members, including the youngest of all Meiryukan members(just turned 3), as well as the oldest(82 next month).

Most of the Meiryukan joint events are hled here. Kind of like the Meiryukan Honbu.
 

11/5 Kasukabe

Fall tests are finished and we are back to regular training in Kasukabe. Today we worked on second control.

katate mochi nikajo osae ichi & ni (tachi,suwari)

The first point was to not twist the wrist. Relax and slide forward while cutting down.

As for the feet the focus was on turning on our toes and using hiriki no yosei ni to control and lead our partner.
