The school summer holidays are almost over... homework finished?
It has been another hot and humid past couple of months in Japan, and on
top of the regular school and family events, July, August and
continuing through September, Meiryukan clubs have been hosting various
events, and each and every time the turn out has been great. The
students dedication and drive has increased immensely in the last year
or so.
Although Meiryukan has over 150 members at 9 different branches, and a
few of the branches are as well split into 2 or 3 separate clubs, many
of the students, both kids and adults, have been coming together for the
joint events, showing their true spirit of aiki-harmony.
Next Tuesday will be the last day of the Kasukabe summer aikido challenge (above pic). This summer's theme was buki. Visitors still welcome!
