A fast paced class to work up a nice sweat in this beautiful weather.
On Saturday the 9th, following a kids class full of
jiyu waza the adults practiced a hard one -
yokomen uchi sankajo osae ni. We did the technique both standing and seated, mainly focusing on the cutting down part. Keeping our hips low and body weight riding on uke. A long technique with a lot of points to teach us.
This past Saturday was our first day of trial lessons. We had 2 ladies come join our training. After going through back breakfalls and basic pivoting movements we worked on
ryote mochi tenchinage ni. The general members then followed up with
suwari waza ryote mochi tenchinage ichi while our guests went into the basics -
kamae, seiza-ho etc. We finished the class playing with the
ikkajo pin.
Taikenkai continues this Wednesday!
